AT&T YOU SUCK!

  • Posted on January 12, 2010 at 23:18

So many of you know that we have been having a lot of trouble with AT&T Uverse.  We got cable and Internet services about a year ago.  We have always had problems with it freezing up and just recently it started dropping our service all together.  In the past year we have had 7 techs come and one line guy.  Every single one of them swore that what they were doing would fix the problem.  Well, This is what I see this morning.

I’m sorry that the picture is bad, my phone doesn’t do well in certain light. But I want you to notice the red light on the AT&T Gateway. That means that we had NO SERVICE at that time. So after 8 people who swore they knew what the problem was and they were going to fix it, it is still broke. I don’t know what sucks more, the techs or their equipment (The DVR runs windows mobile, enough said), or a combination of both. We have one more person coming out tomorrow and it its not fixed we are canceling, and i may just call and demand some compensation for the HORRIBLE service we have gotten.  We don’t deserve this type of service for 100 very hard earned bucks a month!

14 Days of Thanks: Day 8

Today I am thankful for internet

It isn’t until you don’t have it (like right now) that you realize how much you use it. Luckily I have internet on my phone to check bills and bank info if needed and to stay connected with friends and family. And I am also able to use my phone to write a blog post!

I am not thankful for AT&T whose service is aweful. We moved our reciever 2 feet and lost all cable and internet service. They have no clue what’s wrong so we are waiting for a tech to come out tomorrow afternoon.

I am thankful that we are able to afford to have these little extras in life. Maybe I should use this outage to become less dependent on TV and cable.
I just ask why it had to happen on the best night of TV. I will have to watch Survivor and Greyls Anatomy online (when we get that back)
