While we were cooking out on the grill tonight Chris came in and said the following, “I want to warn you about these burgers”
Usually this warning would mean one or more of the following:
1. He burned the burgers beyond recognition (which he has never done)
2. The burgers fell apart (because I had not made the patties tight enough)
3. He dropped the burgers on the ground
Reluctantly I said, “What?” Inside my head I was trying to figure out a plan B for dinner.
He said “These burgers….may just be…..the best burgers you’ve ever had”
I laughed SO hard at him and said…wow, your cocky!
Ohh he wasn’t done telling me how great they were either. He took a bite and said “Mmmm that’s a damn good burger” (Sorry for the language but I’m quoting here)
I LOVE MY PITMASTER!!
Just for the record, they were pretty dang good burgers!
